The point of view

Like a book,
but made of photographs.

Life is made of experiences. What remains are the emotions we have lived, the people we have met and love in all its forms.

The common thread of every journey is the affection for what attracts the eye: a landscape, a face, an object or a small detail worth preserving.

A dedication · To those who begin again

Following the passions you love may lead you to change your life, your habits and your way of doing things. Such important changes bring to mind words from a screenplay by Eric Roth, adapted from a novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I dedicate them to you:

For what it is worth, it is never too late, or too early, to become who you want to be. There is no time limit: begin whenever you wish.

You can change or remain as you are; there is no rule for this. You can live everything at its best, or at its worst…

And I hope you live it all at its best… I hope you see astonishing things and always experience new emotions. I hope you meet people with different points of view.

I hope you can be proud of your life. And if you realise that you are not, I hope you will always find the strength to begin again.

Just me and my motorcycle. Exhausting… and yet I would ride every single kilometre again!

Travelling alone helps you give voice to the darkness you carry within, strengthen your thoughts, fill yourself with ideas and, above all, teaches you to go “beyond” and discover new frontiers, borders, traditions and cultures: only in this way, wherever you are, will you never feel out of place.

Florence is the place from which to leave and to which to return. Tuscany reveals itself through façades, museums, squares and landscapes transformed by light.

01

Architecture · squares · departures

Milan and the North

The journey begins among urban geometries, monumental façades and places of passage. The North is movement: a threshold to cross before returning to the road.

Florence and Tuscany

Florence is the place from which to leave and to which to return. Tuscany reveals itself through façades, museums, squares and landscapes transformed by light.

03

Stone · silence · reflection

Umbria and its villages

Time slows down in the villages. Alleys, churches and stone preserve a more intimate dimension of travel, made of silence and details that reward attention.

04

History · layers · wonder

Rome and Lazio

Rome is never visited only once. Every return layers eras, faces and perspectives: from antiquity to the living city, from monuments to streets explored without haste.

The sea

The sea measures time differently. Harbours, bays and sunsets interrupt the rush and turn travel into contemplation.

The motorcycle journey

The motorcycle journey is not a footnote in this diary: it is one of its essential chapters. The road changes rhythm, every stop becomes part of the story and the destination matters as much as the route.
